Met according to adjournment.

Bill additional to an act entitled an act to regulate the taking Fish in Dryers River, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Mr Vance of Baring has leave of absence after tomorrow until Tuesday next and Mr Dean of Ellsworth after tomorrow during the remainder of the session.

Bill prohibiting public treats on days of Election was taken up and Mr Cobb of Durham Fuller of Augusta & Cobb of Waterville were appointed conferees on the part of the House.

Bill an additional act to provide for carrying into effect certain stipulations in the act for erecting the District of Maine into a separate State. Was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of Samuel Gibson & John Warren agents of the towns of Denmark & Huram praying for a committee to settle the line between said towns, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve in favor of Thomas V Totman & Sylvester G Spaulding- - in favor of the Mariners Church- -relative to fines, forfeitures & bills of cost- - in favor of Trederic Spofford & Nathaniel Treat- which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to promote the sale and settlement of Public Lands, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
