[left margin} order directing the apt of Joint Stand- ing Comm on Lotteries {main body} On motion by Mr Emery Ordered that there be ap- pointed a Joint Standing Committee on Lotteries, Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

[left margin] order relating to the Governs speech [main body] On motion by Mr Herrick Ordered that so much of the Governor's speech as relates to the Kennebec of Can- ada Road be referred to Messrs Herrick, Parsons and Cushman with such as the House may join - Sent down for concurrence.. Concurred and Messrs Redington, Allen Moore Howard + Shaw were joined.

[left margin] Order directing the Secy of State to procure the printing for the State [main body] On motion by Mr Emery Ordered that the Sec- retary of State be authorized to procure the necessary printing for the State the current political year to be done on such terms as he may think most advantageous for the State the accounts for which to be submitted to the next Legislature for allowance. Sent down for concurrence.


[left margin] Order, relating to the Municipal Court in Portland [main body] On motion by Mr Megquier Ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire what further provisions are necessary in relat- ion to the powers and organization of the Municipal Court for the town of Portland in the County of Cumberland in addition to the provisions contained in the Act estab- lishing said Canal and the acts thereto additional with leave to report by Bill or otherwise. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

[left margin] Bill to incorporate the Town of Welling- ton, referred [main body] On motion by Mr Weston Bill to incorporate the town of Wellington referred from the last Legislature was taken from the files and referred to the committee on In- corporation of towns.
