A message was received from the House informing that they had amended the engrossed Bill incoporating the Union Bank,” and requesting the concurrence of the Senate therein.

And the Senate concur with the House in a part of their amendments, nonconcur them in others, and adopt further amendments in the same; and a message was sent to the House informing them of the same and requesting their concurrence.
The Bill then came up concurred, with an order that the same be reengrossed, in which the Senate concurred.

The Senate then took up the Bill incorporating the Canal Bank,” and passed the same to be engrossed, the question being taken by yeas and nays as follows, viz. – Yeas. Messrs Scammon, Dunlap, Dunn, Churchill, Whitney, Shepard, Holland, Ripley, Kelsey, Campbell and Southwick. 11
Nays, Messrs. Prime, Parsons, Green, Stebbins, Fairbanks, Lord and Parlin. 7
