28 [Order directing Com. on Jud. to inquire into the expediency of passing a Law giving workmen a lien on vessels]

Orders of the the House of Representatives that the committee on the Judiciary take into consideration the expediency of passing a Law giving to ship carpenters, Blacksmiths and others furnishing materials and doing labor on ships and vessels for the payment of their claims, and that said committee have leave to report by Bill or otherwise.

" That the committee on the Judiciary be directed to inquire into the expediency of altering the Law regulating costs in trustee process with leave to report by bill or otherwise,
