Reports on the petitions of William Rice - -Jacob Longfellow & als - granting leave to withdraw, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Reports on the petitions of John Wood - " - James Neal & al - " - on the order of 9th Jan 7 respecting an additional act to secure to owners their property in logs &c - granting leave for Bills, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Report, on the order to consider the expediency of providing by law for the trial by Jury of the validity of any conveyance of property by a defendent to the person summoned as trustee &c - that it is inexpedient to Legislate upon the subject, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill - extending the charter of the United Marine & Fire Insurance Company of Portland for certain purposes, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading
