74 Thursday January 20th 1831 Met according to adjournment The order of yesterday authorizing the Valuation Committee to accept the services of any member of the Legislature & c came from the Senate nonconcurred & the House reconsidered their vote whereby they passed this order & postponed the same indefinitely. Report of Committee on Incorporation of Towns on the Petition of Assessors of Houlton Plantation came from the Senate nonconcurred & (referred) amended by inserting at B the words "& Northern Light" & the House nonconcurred the Senate i in their proposed amendment & adhere to their former vote amending the report - sent up for concurrence. Report of the same Committee on Petition of Rufus Jameson & others came from the Senate nonconcurred & amended by inserting at B the words "and Northern Light" & the House nonconcurred the Senate in their proposed amendment & adhere to their former vote amending the report - sent up for concurrence.

Report of the same Committee granting an order of notice on the Petition of Welcome Bishop & others came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

Report of the Committee to whom was referred a Resolve for selling timber on the Indian Townships amending said resolve came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House (concurred) receded from their former votes so far as to concur with the Senate. Resolve giving the Sheriff of Washington County special powers laid on the table by Mr Delesdernier of Calais was read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
