90 Petition of Trustees of Foxcroft Academy for aid to purchase land & erect buildings

   of Trustees of Gardiner Lyceum for pecuniary aid came from the Senate for concurrence referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions & the House concurred.

Petition of Joseph Walker & others that the town of Portland or Court of Sessions may be authorized to lay out a road in said town between high & law water mark came from the Senate for concurrence referred to the Committee on the Judiciary & the House concurred.

Petition of the town of Alna for their proportion of representation came from the Senate referred to the Committee on Apportionment of Representatives &c for concurrence & the House concurred. Petition of Pelatiah Leach Jr & another that the ministerial fund of the town of Penobscot may be annexed to their school fund came from the Senate for concurrence referred to the Committee on Parishes & the House concurred.

Bill - respecting Innholders, Retailers & Common Victuallers was read 1st & 2nd time & Wednesday next at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading & 2oo copies thereof ordered to be printed for the use of the House. Bill - authorizing the town of Wells to assess a tax on the owners of dogs was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading.

   Bill to set off a past f the town of Hermon & annex the same to the town of Hampden was read 1 3rd time & passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft. Sent up for concurrence.
