Bill in addition to the several acts for the preservation of fish in Penobscot River, and Bay, and the several streams that empty into the same,” was read a 2d. time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House. -

Bill additional to an Act regulating Judicial process and proceedings,” Bill to incorporate the town of Kirkland,” and Resolve in favor of China Academy,” were read a 2d. time and passed to be engrossed: sent down for concurrence. -

Bill creating a fund for paying the State debt,' and for other purposes,” was read a 2d. time and referred to the next Legislature: sent down for concurrence. -

Resolve fixing the place of meeting of the next Legislature,” was postponed till tomorrow at 10 oclock. -
[Committee on quieting settlers on the undivided lands]
On motion Ordered that the committee on State Lands be directed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the Land Agent of this State, in conjunction with the Agent on the part of Massachusetts, to quiet the settlers in their possessions on the undivided lands on the St. Johns and Madaweska rivers, with leave to report by Bill, Resolve or otherwise: sent down for concurrence: concurred

Bill in addition to an act to provide for the education of youth,” came up with sundry amendments; and the Senate concur the House in a part of their amendments, and nonconcur them in others; and adopt further amendments, and now pass-
