Met according to adjournment

Mr Whitney of Lincolnville has leave of absence after Saturday and Mr Wood of Camden after Monday next, each, during the remainder of the session.

Report of the committee on Banks & Banking on the subject of the Kennebunk Bank, that the business of said bank is now conducted in street conformity with the provisions of its Charter & the letter of its Bye Laws - was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

An Order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee on State Lands to inquire into the expediency of allowing bills of costs accruing upon suits commenced on Motes taken by the Land Agent for setting lands, under an "Act to promote the sale and settlement of public Lands passes Feb 25th 1824 and the House concurred.

Bill an act additional to an act to prevent frauds & perjury was read once & referred to the committee on the part of the House on the Judiciary

Bill an additional act to an act establishing the Salaries of certain officers, was read a 3rd time & referred indefinitely. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that the joint standing committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for an appeal from the decisions of the Court of Sessions to the Supreme Judicial Court on some other Tribunal where such provision does not already exist read & passed. Sent up for consideration & concurrence.
