Mr. Williams from the Committee the Judiciary reported with amendment Bill additional to the relief of Poor Debtors as the following, amendment was proposed at B. " Strike out "County," and insert "town" in which the goal is situated." the question on the adoption of this amendment ordered to be taken by yeas and nays was decided in the negative as follows

Mr. Megquier moved a reconsideration of the vote whereby, the Senate refused a second reading of the Bill to incorporate the Abyssinian Society, and on taking the question the motion prevailed, the Bill was then ordered to a second reading, again read and passed to be engrossed. Mr Washburn from the Committee on State Lands reported Resolve in favor of James Irish and the same was read once and this afternoon at 4 oclock assigned for a second reading, adjourned
