302 Resolve in favor of Benjamin Dunn came from the Senate passed to be engrossed - & was now taken up and discussed and a call being made for the previous question and sustained and the question "Shall the main question be now put" being decided in the affirmative the resolve was indefinitely postponed - sent up for concurrence. Resolve for the payment of contingent expenses was read 1 & 2 time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence. Petition of William D. Williamson and others for a Bank at Bangor was read & referred to the Committee on Banks & Banking - sent up for concurrence. Resolve in favor of John Hobbs was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence. Bill respecting Colleges was read 1 & 2 time & Monday next at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading. Resolve authorizing the Governor & Council to cause a Gun House to be erected at Bath was read a 1st time and Monday next at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading. Bill to organize govern & discipline the Militia of the State came from the senate passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft - and the House adopt the new draft amend it as an sheets annexed marked A, B,C & refer the Bill to the next Legislature & order one thousand copies thereof to be printed & distributed by the Adjutant General as specified on sheet annexed to said Bill marked L - sent up for concurrence.
