36 Thursday January 12 1832 Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr Bean of Corrince the House reconsidered the vote whereby they passed the following Order, Ordered that the following Artide be added to the Rules and orders of this House, viz. Whenever any Order, Resolution or Motion shall be decided in the negative, the said Order, Resolution or Motion and the proceedings of the House thereon shall be entered on the Journal of the House at the request of one fourth of the members present, provided such request be made at the time the passage of such order, resolution or motion is refused on motion of Mr Javis of Ellsworth to postpone the same indefinitely, the question was taken by yeas and nays and decided in the affirmative as follows - yeas 99 Nays 59.
