Report of the committee on the order of the 1st inst directing them to inquire as to the expediency of receiving proposals for the erection of the public buildings payable out of the public lands that the subject be referred to the next Legislature, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

John Holmes of Alfred and the Hon Thomas Bond of Hallowell that they have been elected by the several Branches of the Legislature under a Resolve of the same a committee to revise the State criminal code of Laws & that the Secretary furnish each with a copy of said Resolve - read & passed.
