which were severally finally passed. Set up for concurrence.
Nathaniel Low Editor of the American Patriot, laid on the table a communication, which with the order presented to the House on the 21st inst., was referred to Messrs Smith of Nobleboro’, Cobb of Durham & Pote[?] of Freeport.
A communication was received from the Senate by Mr Hutchinson their Secretary, informing the House that the Senate have refused to pass to be enacted the Bill regulating the sale of Lottery Tickets & drawing of Lotteries authorized by this State
An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Stebbins & Balkam with such as the House may join a committee to inform the Governor that the Senate & House of Representatives have passed upon all the public business which has come before them and agreed to adjourn without day & to inquire whether he has any further communication to make to them – The House concurred and Messrs Swan of Portland, White of Monmouth and Davis of Augusta, were joined.
Resolve in favor of Aaron Blaney, came from the Senate indefinitely postponed – The House adhere to their vote passing the same, propose a conference & appoint Messrs Smith of Nobleboro, Jewett of Bowdoinham & Barnard of Alna as conferees.
