[Resolve relating to aid for making Road in Penobscot County] Mr. Phelps, from the Joint Standing Committee on State Lands, on the Petition of J.B. Harvey & others, reported a Resolve entitled "Resolve directing the Land Agent to inquire into and report upon the expediency of granting aid for making a Road in Penobscot County," which was read the first time and second time and passed to be Engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

[Bill to authorize G. F. Richardson to navigate the Androscoggin River] The Bill entitled " An act to authorize George F. Richardson exclusively to navigate the Androscoggin River with Horse-Boats" was read the second time and, on motion, was ordered to lie on the table.
