Bill limiting the tenure of certain officers, laid on the table by Mr. Emerson of Harrison on leave obtained, was read once & referred to Messrs. White of Monmouth, Emerson of Harrison & Kent of Bangor.

Report on Memorial of Jabez P. Bradbury & report of J. H. Lathrop on the same subject, was referred to Messrs. Eastman of Cornville, Colburne of Bloomfield & Morse of Wilton.

Resolve in favor of Joshua Hathaway, was read once and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill providing for the survey & admeasurement of Logs, was read once & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 2nd reading.

Resolve in favor of Benjamin Brown, was read once & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill to incorporate the Maine Manufacturing Company for the encouragement & improvement of machinery + colouring + dressing Cloth, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Bill to incorporate the Ellsworth Mutual Fire Insurance Company, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed, Resolve in favor of John K. Smith - providing for the purchase and distribution of Greenleafs Report which were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
