184 Thursday February 19 1829

Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr. Perkins of Hebron Ordered, That the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals be instructed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the town of Hebron to demand & receive toll of persons passing the Bridge on the new road in said town, erected over the Little Androscoggin River - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

granting leave to withdraw, were severally read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill providing for the speedy collection of small debts, laid on the table by Mr. Emerson of Harrison, was read once & referred to Messrs. Swan of Portland, Deshon of Biddeford & Clark of Hallowell.

Bill to incorporate the Waterville Mutual Fire Insurance Company, laid on the table by Mr. Eaton of Winslow, was read once & referred to the committee on Banks & Banking. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Cobb of Durham, Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering or amending the law respecting the bonds of Coroners &c - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
