  Ordered, That the committee on the Militia & Military Affairs be instructed to inquire as to the expediency of making an appropriation for supplying the members of the Thomaston and Warren Artillery Company with two additional field pieces, provided the Governor and Council shall deem it expedient to divide said company - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence

On motion of Mr Little of Windham,

  Ordered that Messrs Little of Windam, Robinson of Vassalboro's, Libbey of West Machias be a committee to consider the propriety of providing by law that the expense of making all County roads shall be borne by the Counties within which they may be located - read & passed.
