Bill authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Damariscotta Canal Corporation, came down, the Senate refusing to refer the Bill in concurrence with the House to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals - The House recede from their votes & postpone the Bill indefinitely.
