Met according to adjournment.

The committee of the House of Representatives to whom was referred the letter of the Secretary of State of the 21st of Feb last transmitting by order of the House the Pay Roll of the Council for the last political year, made their report, which was read & accepted - and thereupon it was

  Ordered that the Clerk of this House cause the same to be published on the State paper - read & passed.

Resolve providing compensation for certain officers, was reported as duly engrossed, and the House amended the same and ordered it to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the payment of accounts against the State, was reported as duly engrossed by the committee on Bills in the 3rd reading, and then finally passed. Sent up for concurrence

Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

The House reconsidered their vote above passing to be reengrossed Resolve providing compensation for certain officers and referred the same to Messrs Herrick of Lewiston, Robinson of Vassalboro' & Clark of Limington.

An order came fro the Senate for concurrence directing that the Secretary of State to notify William Allen Junr of Norridgewock, George Scamman of Saco & Joshua Richardson of Portland, that they have been appointed Commissioners to examine the State Prison accounts under a Resolve of the present Legislature passed the 3rd instant; also that they have been requested by an
