Wednesday February 18th, 1829

[Pet. Sam Winters & al referred] Petition of Samuel Winter and others, that the Court of Sessions for the court of Lincoln may be authorized to lay out a road a cross the tide water of New Meadows River was referred in concurrence to the Committee on the Judiciary.

[Order respecting Land Agents] Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on State Lands, inquire whether there are any Agents that have not rendered an account of their agency and whether they hold property belonging to the State unaccounted for and report by bill or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence.

[Order concerning what business to be acted on] Order of the House of Representatives appointing, Messrs Fillebrown, Dole and Bourne with such as the Senate may join to examine and report what further business is necessary to be acted on this session, and when the Legislature may have a recess not inconsistent with the interests of the State or any Individual thereof was read and passed in concurrence with Messrs Dane and Kingsbury were joined.

[Order respecting the payment of Poll Tax] Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on the Judiciary be requested to consider the expediency of providing by Law that persons disable by sickness, age lameness, or other infirmity shall be exempted from paying, a poll tax was read and passed in concurrence.
