[Resolve respecting printing] Resolve making advance out of the State Treasury for printing was read once and today at a quarter past 12 assigned for a second reading.

[Bill to present the destruction of moose deer &c] Bill to prevent the destruction of Moose Deer and Caraboo was read a second time and indefinitely postponed. M Grover gave notice that he should move for a reconsideration of this vote at 3 o clock this afternoon

[Resolve passed to be engrossed] Resolve appointing Commissioners to settle with certain Land Agents was read once and passed to be engrossed in concurrence

[Report further Legislation unnecessary] Report of the committee on banks and banking on order of January 26th requiring the return of all debtors to banks their sureties &c on order of February 6th respecting the Agencies of Insurance companies and the Report of the Commissioners appointed by the Governor and Council to examine Banks that further legislation on said subjects is unnecessary was read and accepted in concurrence.

[Bill to change the names of certain persons] Bill to change the names of certain persons was read once ordered to a second reading again read and passed to in concurrence

[Resolve authorizing the L. agent to sell certain lands] Resolve authorizing the Land Agent to sell certain Lands was read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

[Bill defining the power &c of justices of the peace] Bill defining the powers and duties of Justices of the Peace resepecting actions of replevin was read once and three of the clock this afternoon assigned for a 2nd reading.

[Bill concerning assessment &c of taxes] Bill additional concerning the assessment and collection of taxes came up indefinitely postponed and the Senate adhere to their former vote passing the same to be engrossed s.d.f.c.
