Monday January 11th 1830

Met according to adjournment

Remonstrance of Joseph Henderson & others against the election of Abraham Thomas returned from the class composed of the town of Eden &c, was read & refereed to the committee on Elections.

On motion of Mr Smith of Nobleboro' Ordered, That the committee on Elections be instructed to enquire whether any persons returned as a member of this House who had not been for three months next proceeding the time of his election & does not continence [?] to be resident in the town or district which he represents - road & passed.

On motion of Mr Bourne of Kennebunk, Ordered, That when the Hosue adjourn, it adjourn until tomorrow - read & passed.
