The order directing the Land agent to ascertain from the Land Agent of Massachusetts the tracts & quantities of land sold & conveyed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts south of & North of the monument line ect came from the Senate nonconcurred & taken into a new Draft - ordered to lie on the table

Ordered that the Senate be requested to take from their files to Petition of the Selectmen of Winslow for relief from under proportion of the Selectmen of Winslow for relief from under proportion of State Tax & sell the same to this House Sent up

On motion of Mr Holden of Brunswick Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be firected to consider the Expediency of Empowering assessor of towns & Plantations to demand of the Cashier of any Bank in this State any information relative to transfer of Stock in the bank with which he is connected that they may deem important sent up for concurrence

A Communication was received from the Marshal of the State of Maine accompanied by an abstract of the census of said State which was read and sent up with the accompanying document

Communications were received from Isaac Lane Hezekial Prince and Allen H Cobb signifying respectively their acceptance of the office of Councillors
