The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve relating to unfinished business of the Legislature and the same was finally passed sent up for concurrence

On motion of Bourne of Kennebunk

 Ordered that 300 copies of the Report of the Commissioner of Public Building be printed for the use of the Legislature sent up for concurrence

An order was moved that the Committee on the payroll be directed to make up fifty cents for day additional pay for each member of the Valuation Committee for each day they may be engaged in that business and the question upon passing this order was taken by yeas and nays as follows Yeas 2 Nays 132 (for yeas and nays see page 398)

A Communication was received from William Emerson Esq signifying his acceptance of the office of Councillor read and sent up

A message was sent to the Senate proposing to them a Convention of both Branches in the Representatives Chamber at 1/2 past 11 oclock this foremoon for the purpose of administering the necessary oaths of office to William Emerson Councillor Elect and the Senate by Message signified their concurrence therewith

  Accordingly both Branches met in convention and William Emerson took and subscribed the oaths prescribed by law to qualify him to discharge the duties of his office

On motion of Mr Bradbury of Hollis Ordered that the Senate be requested to take from their files dividing line between Hollis and Lyman - sent up
