Chamberlain took Command, Col Ames having been promoted to be Brig. General. On the 20th of May the Brigade moved to Golding's Farm on the 28th to U.S. Ford and on the 5th of June to Ellis Ford. On the 13th broke camp and marched by way of Morristown, Catlett's Station, Manassas Junction and ( ? ) to Aldie where the corps encamped June 19th. On the 21st the Brigade was sent out to
