Report of the Committee on the Judiciary to whom was referred an order relative to highway districts so as to make them corporate bodies &c- that legislation on the subject is inexpedient - came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report of the same Committee to whom was referred an order relative to altering the law concerning stray beasts &c. that legislation on that subject is inexpedient - came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Resolve - for the safe keeping of Public Papers was read a first time and monday next at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for the relief of the Poor residing without the limits of any town or organized plantation.
