Resolve - in favor of Waterville Light Infantry - - additional for opening, clearing and repairing a road from the South line of Township Numbered two in the Old Indian Purchase on the East side of Penobscot River to Matanawcook Stream - which were severally finally passed - sent up for concurrence.

Bill - regulating the taking of Fish in Sheepscot River was taken up and read - and the further consideration thereof thereof postponed until tomorrow at eleven o'clock.

Bill - additional concerning the assessment and collection of taxes was taken up and 200 copies thereof ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Resolve authorizing the Governor to settle with William Vance was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as further amended by adding an additional resolve thereto annexed marked L - also as further amended on sheet annexed marked H. sent up for concurrence.

Bill - additional directing the method of laying out and making provision for the repair and amendment of Highways, and providing for the appointment of County Commissioners was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft - sent up for concurrence

On motion of Mr. Buxton of North Yarmouth - Ordered that the Committee on the State Valuation be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law of assessing the State Tax that valuation may be revised or made anew once every five years - sent up for concurrence.
