48 and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on Literary Institutions. Sent down for concurrence. Order from the House instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of providing by law that the personal estate of Minors and other persons held by any Guardian shall be assessed and taxed in the town where such minors or other persons reside; and also to enquire into the expediency of providing by law that the personal estate held in trust by any Executor or Administrator, shall be liable to be assessed and taxed by the assessors of the town or towns where the heirs to such estate may reside. Read and passed in concurrence. Order from the House instructing the Joint Standing Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, to enquire what alterations if any be necessary in calling District School meetings. Read and passed in concurrence. On motion of Mr. Webb, Ordered that the Secretary of the Senate cause a suitable number of printed blank Reports to be furnished for the use of the several Joint Standing Committee of the Legislature forthwith.
