Thursday, February, 21. 1833.

The Senate recede from the vote whereby they passed an order, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to examine a Resolve approved March 10, 1831, entitled a Resolve apportioning the Representatives, amongst the several counties. Towns &c, and indefinitely postpone the same in concurrence with the House.

On motion of Mr Keith; the Senate reconsider the vote whereby they committed the Bill to organize, govern, and discipline the Militia of this State, to a Special Committee of this Board, and commit the same to a Joint Select Committee to consist of Messrs Keith Herrick and Webb, with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence.

A Communication from Asa Redington Junior, Draftsman, requesting authority to employ assistance in his office. Read and ordered that the Draftsman be authorized to employ an assistant Draftsman for such period as may be necessary to effect a prompt discharge of the duties of his office. Sent down for concurrence.
