Resolve in favor of Andrew McMillan was read a 1st time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 2d. reading

Resolve in favor of John Hobbs was read 1st time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 2d. reading

Bill to prevent the filling up and obstruction of St. Croix river was read 1 & 2 time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d. reading

Bill additional to the several acts now in force respecting Workhouses & Houses of Correction & for the punishment of common drunkards came from the Senate refused a passage for concurrence - and the House reconsider their former votes in relation to this Bill & concur with the Senate

Bill an additional act regulating Elections came from the Senate they adhering to their vote passing the Bill to be Engrossed and proposing a Conference & appointing as Conferees on their part Messrs. Megquier, Goodwin & Hinds - and the House adhere to their former vote accept the proposed conference & appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs. Cole of Paris, Williams of Augusta & Fillebrown of Winthrop
