50 which have received from former Legislatures to the Committee on Literary Institutions. So much thereof as relates to primary Instruction and the better qualification of Instructors be referred to Messrs. Pierce, Groton Porter Bridgham and Brown with such as the House may join. So much thereof as refers to the subject of the Deaf and Dumb to Messrs. Prescott Bridgham & Manning with such as the House may join. So much thereof as relates to Agriculture to the Committee on Agriculture. SO much thereof as relates to the Militia be referred to the Committee on the Militia. So much thereof as relates to the Penitentiary be referred to the Committee on the State Prison. SO much as relates to a new edition of the two first volumes of the Laws of Maine be referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. And the House concurred and joined on their part on so much of said Message as relates to Internal Improvements to Messrs. Pierce of Portland, Milldrum of Wells, Merrill of Waterville, Bartlett of Norway, Pike of Athens, Sabine of Eastport, Keene of Bremen, Jarvis of Ellsworth, Drew of Belmont and Stetson of Hamden.
