308 Bill altering the term of the Supreme Judicial Court in the County of Hancock & Washington laid on the table by Mr. Hamlin of Columbia was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed - sent up for concurrence. Bill respecting Colleges was taken up & the House reconsider their vote adopting the amendment of the Senate and then indefinitely postpone this Bill - sent up for concurrence. The Select Committee of the House to whom was referred the order of the 23rd instant proposing certain questions to the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court &c reported the same as taken into a new draft which was read and passed. The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed - Bill - additional regulating the fees of parties in certain cases which was indefinitely postponed - sent up for concurrence.
