The Secretary of State pro tem came in and laid upon the Speakers table a written confidential Communication from the Governor

On motion of Mr Clifford The House went into a secret session on the confidential communication of the Governor

Bill additional respecting logs, masts, spars and other lumber was read a second time and indefinitely postponed.

Petition of James Preble for the allowance of the amount due him for four and three fourths days work of stone cutting for the Staet from the 14th to the 18th of September 1830 on the public buildings of the State, was read and referred to the Committee on Public Buildings. Sent up for concurrence.
