On motion of Mr. Cogswell, Ordered in concurrence with the House, that the Governor be requested to communicate to the Legislature, the Report of the Commissioners on the North Eastern Boundary, appointed under the Resolve of March 3rd 1832 if the same has been received by him with any other documents which he may deem proper, and as soon as the same can in his judgment be communicated consistently with the public good. Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence.

The petition of Abjiah Smith praying for an increase of compensation for services rendered as Agent on the Canada Road. Read and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on State Roads. Sent down for concurrence. Resolve from the House relating to the Baring and Houlton Road, read once and this day at twelve o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Order from the House, appointing Messrs. Reed of Boothbay, Cram of New Sharon & Lowell of East Machias a Committee with such as the Senate may join to enquire into the expediency of removing the seat of Government from the town of Augusta, and locating the same in the City of Portland; to report by Bill or otherwise. Read once and passed in concurrence and Messrs. Bradbury and Talbot were joined.
