Cobb of New Gloucester, Powers of Sandford, Cilley of Thomaston, Buck of Orland, Foster of Pembroke, Mills of Belgrade, Bolster of Rumford, Spaulding of Norridgewock, Gove of Corinth & Harkness of Camden with such as the Senate may join. Petition of Joshua Elder, praying to be remunerated for damage arising from the operation of a Resolve in favor of Zadoc Bishop & others, was read & referred to the committee on claims. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill authorizing the United States of America to take & hold lands within this State for the purpose of erecting Light houses thereon, was taken up & further amended on motion of Mr. Washburn of Livermore, read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.
