194 Bill - an additional act respecting the Militia & Circuit Courts Martial, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

The Joint Committee to whom was referred the Bond of Elias Thomas Esq Treasurer of State, reported that the same is sufficient & ought to be accepted - and the House accepted the report in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to incorporate the Indian Island Manufacturing Company was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve additional to the Resolve relating to the Mettanawcook Road, laid on the table by Mr. Kent of Bangor, was read once & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 2d reading.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of requiring bond of the Secretary of State to account for all money which come to his hands by appropriations, and the House concurred.

Bill to ascertain the amount & description of estates & of certain descriptions of Persons within this State, was read a second time and this afternoon at 3 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Report of the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals on the petition of C. Richardson & al, granting an Order of Notice was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on the petition of a Committee of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation, granting leave to Withdraw, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.
