Mr. Farnsworth from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals to which were referred Petition of the town of Princeton, " of the inhabitants of Baileyville, " of Phillip Morrill and others, and " of the town of Ellsworth, praying for the passage of a law, requiring the use of broad rimmed wheels, made a report, asking leave to be discharged from the further consideration of said petitions, and that the same be referred to the Joint Standing Committee having that subject under consideration. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The same gentleman from the same Committee reported order of notice on petition of Edward A. Bridge and others, also, Leave to bring in a Bill on petition of Jonathan Hyde and others; severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Bath Railway, reported by the same gentleman, read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Mr. Cogswell from the Committee on Banks and Banking, made a report on petition of the President and Directors of the Merchants Bank; read & accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Merchants Bank, reported by the same gentleman, read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
