The petition of sundry inhabitants of Ripley, in relation to the ministerial fund in said town, came up from the House referred to the committee on Parishes. The Senate nonconcur the House in said reference, and refer said petition to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the committee on State Lands to enquire into the expediency of securing to Nathaniel Fernald a title to Ten [?] Pound Island in the county of Hancock now in possession of the State, read and passed, in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Meadow Brook dams and sluices, came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.

Resolve in favour of John Bodwell was read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading, and the same was committed to Messrs Ingalls, Porter, and Davee.

The committee on Military pensions, to whom was recommitted a Resolve in favour of Charles S. Preble, reported the same as taken into a new draft, and the same was passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.
