Mr Keith, from the Conferees on the part of the Senate on Resolve providing for the erection of a Monument over the remains of Enoch Lincoln, made a report recommending the reference of said Resolve to the next Legislature. Whereupon, the Senate recede from their votes finally passing and passing said Resolve to be engrossed and refer the same to the next Legislature, in concurrence.

Mr Hunton, from the committee on Literary Institutions, reported that Legislation is inexpedient on an order relating to the funds in the North Parish in Berwick, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

Mr Talbot, from the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, reported reference to the next Legislature, on petition of certain inhabitants of Kennebec county, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The petition of John Lovejoy, for compensation for apprehending a horse thief, was, read and referred to the next Legislature, in concurrence.

The remonstrance of Cyrus Eaton and others, against the removal of the Courts from Warren to Thomaston, was read and referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence.
