was again taken up and on motion of Mr Call of Bangor recommitted with instructions to report as Bill in accordance with the prayer of the Petitioners. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Daniel Cony & others was read once and Tuesday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 2nd reading.

A message was received from the Governor [see appendix page 355] informing the Legislature that the condition contained in the Resolve for establishing an Insane Hospital "passed March 8th 1834 requiring the sum of twenty thousand dollars to be raised by individual donations has been complied with - and the same with the accompanying documents were referred in concurrence with the Senate to the committee who have render consideration the subject of Insane Hospital - and thereupon on motion Ordered that 1000 copies of the message and accompanying papers be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Report of the committee on the Bill entitled "An act to prevent the circulation of small Bank Bills" of the same in a new Draft and further that said new draft ought not to pass - and the question of acceptance was taken by yeas and nays and decided in the affirmative as follows yeas 82 nays 65 [See appendix page 426] Sent up for concurrence

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed "An act in addition to an act to incorporate the city of Bangor" which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
