The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Resolve in favor of Daniel Cony & others - - authorizing the Land agent to settle certain claims for public lands - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
The same committee reported truly engrossed Bill - to incorporate the Moosehead Lake Stream Navigation Company - - to incorporate the Old Town Stage Company - - incorporating the Somerset Ferry Company - - to incorporate the Lincoln Benevolent Society which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
Petition of Jacob McGaw & others for the incorporation of the Trustees of the Smith Female Seminary was read & referred to the committee on Literature & sent up for concurrence.
On motion by Mr Webb of Windham. Ordered, That the committee of the Pay Roll be directed to make up the pay of John Bunker of Cranbury Isles number of this House up to, and including Thursday next 13th inst.
