Evening. Met according to adjournment.
The House again resolved itself into a committee of the whole, on the Bill entitled "An additional act providing for the prevention thereof" and after continuing some time therein - the committee rose and reported the Bill to the House with amendments which the House subsequently adopted, and then on motion of Mr Holmes of Alfred, Ordered, That the subject be referred to the next Legislature and the Report & Bill as amended, printed in all the papers that publish the Laws of the State. Sent up for concurrence.
And then the House adjourned.
