Communication of Parker Cleaveland, Secretary of the Medical School of Maine, accompanied by a Catalogue of the Library of said School at Bowdoin College with the Medical Statutes of said school, in pursuance of an order of the Legislature, was read and, on motion of Mr Prescott, ordered to lie on the table and that three hundred copies of said communication be printed, for the use of the Legislature
Bill for the building of a Bridge in Blue hill came up from the House of Representatives amended. The Senate nonconcur the House in passing said Bill to be engrossed and refer the same to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence.
Mr Farnsworth from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals reported notice to next Legislature on petition of Johnson Lunt and others, and on petition of Robert M.N. Smyth and others; and leave to withdraw on petition of Samuel G. Bowman and others, severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
The same gentleman from the same Committee, to which was referred the petition of Samuel Kelley and others to be incorporated for the purpose of building a Turnpike from the County road leading from Calais to Robins Town made a special report recommending the appointment of George M. Chase, Shilometh S. Whipple and Lewis Wilson a viewing Committee (agreeably to the provisions of an act passed, 1821 relative to turnpike Corporation) to make their report to next Legislature that all persons
