On motion of Mr Talbot, Ordered that the Messenger of the Senate be requested at all times previous to the hour of prayers, to give notice to all persons in the entries and lobby adjourning the Senate Chamber and that during the time of praters, he be requested, as much as possible, to prevent persons from coming in and going out with all other noise and disturbance inconsistent with the devotional services.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for ceding to the United States jurisdiction over sites, or places designated for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards and other needful buildings and to enable the United States to hold lands for such purposes - read and passed in concurrence.
