We regret that the Maine Author Collection

will no longer benefit by the gift of your new books, but we trust that you will permit us to order a copy from a book dealer sent to you for

an inscription. You have been very generous to the exhibit, and your interest has been warmly appreciated. Please accept our taanks for your courtesies during the past years. The bookplate which you thoughtfully enclosed will be placed in a copy of the ROBERTS' READER

which will go into the collection shortly. Sincerely yours,
