Met according to adjournment.

Report of Lieut Col. Long was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Rail Roads & Canals.

An order came from the Senate instructing the Committee on Literature &c to inquire into the expediency of fixing by law some mode of securing faithful & prompt returns by the Selectmen of the several towns, aldermen of Cities, & assessors of Plantations of the number of Scholars &c as now required by an act of the 11th of March 1834 and also to fix the compensation of superintending School Committees, & the House concurred.

Returns of Agricultural Societies was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee Agriculture.

Bill - An Act to set off Nathaniel Carril from the town of Warren and annex him to the town of Camden, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Nathaniel Stevens & others for authority to erect a dam across Little River Harbour - was read & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Interior Waters.

Petition of the Trustees of Foxcroft Academy for a and by money or land - was refd in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Literature &c. Sent up for concurrence.
