Remonstrance of Alvan Bolster & others agst the petition to have the ministerial land in Rumford appropriated to support of Schools was read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Bill - An Act to incorporate the Mt Heard Granite Company - - An Act to incorporate the Saturday Cove Granite Company - - An Act to incorporate the Madacunk Mill Company - - An Act to incorporate the Exchange Fire & Marine Insurance Company which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same Committee reported as truly engrossed - Resolve, in favor of John Clark Junior - - in favor of George Brooks - - Laying a tax in the several Counties in this State which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
