[page 315] Q. Have you always treated those patients that are put in the lodge as you have been directed to? A. Well, I dont know as I have always, no, sir. Q. What were those directions generally? A. They varied of course. Some times the directions were to put them in the lodge without any clothes when they were bad Q. How have you varied from that? A. I put them in and gave them plenty of clothes to keep them warm, and some times put straps on them when I haven't been ordered to? Q. When you have given them clothes enough to keep them warm have they generally retained them or torn them off? A. I though when they gave them plenty of clothes to keep them warm they would keep them on; give them about half enough and they had nothing else to do but to tear them off. Give them plenty and they would be ^more likely to keep them than if they didnt have more than half enough, the way I have always found it Q. Have there been several cases like that? A. Yes, 2 or 3
