I dont know about that. Dr. Butler stated that he had no other witness present, and would be unable to proceed further at present. It was suggested by one of the Committee that they would hear Dr. Butler testimony, as they understood he was to testify. Dr. Butler: The most that I know in reference to that hospital has been obtained through the great courtesy and kindness of Dr. Harlow, Dr. Sanborn, and Mr. Lakin who threw open the doors to my wifes room and allowed me to go back and forth. The most I know had been made know to me in that way, through their confidence. And if they had supposed that I was to come out the stand as a witness against them they would not have allowed it.
